Visits Henderson Schools
Two-time Children's Choice Award winner Jarrett Krosoczka spent 3 days in Henderson, Nevada recently visting students at 9 schools, as well as judging an art contest featuring posters interpreting his book characters, signing copies of his books, viewing a teen performance of his book Punk Farm, and receiving a Key to the City from Henderson's Mayor Hafen. The annual Celebration of Reading sponsored by the APPLE Partnership is intended to inspire a love of reading, and to encourage young artists and writers to pursue their dreams.
